Hi Guys,

Man it’s dead out here  …

I have an   LG  29FU1RLX-T1  ctv that suffered from a power surge (according to the customer)

The mains fuse is blown and the face is blown off the regulator IC.

Does anyone know what the IC number is please  …  and what else may be faulty.

I cant identify any other crook components, but isn’t that always the way?

I will change the opto also, but I don’t recognise the numbers  (not common to me)

the ic is a STR-W6556A  PT NO. EAN36799301
THE circuit shows it as a str-x6556a
also on these sets the main filure cap has a bad habit of going open so worth a quick cheeck before turning on and blowing it up again
