I have a infocus 5700 projector and found c61 capacitor completley burnt cant tell what value it is   i think my only option is to replace the complete main pcb    the projector starts up  but lamp does not turn on , so power supply seems ok .

any advice please   thanks

ok, where is C61 located ?
Do you hear the lamp start to fire up ? and what about the start up voltages to lamp ballast ?
