   <description><![CDATA[I have a customer phone in with description of dmr-xw300 not finalising discs. He's using DVD-Rs and has been doing this for over 12months so I'm thinking he knows what he is doing?<br /><br />I'm never seen one do this before? I'm thinking drive unit? Has anyone else seen this?]]></description>

   <description><![CDATA[How quickly we forget. Have one that will power on from standby but within 10 seconds reverts back to standby.Cassette will not load, no drum or motors it seems.Safety resistor in power supply is ok. Does this ring any bells amongst our erudite members cos I dont want to spend too much time on it.<br />Bill]]></description>

   <description><![CDATA[Hi all, just cracked a sticky one on this JVC. had no audio, pic ok. Found no B+ to audio chip. after much tracing back, found corroded supply track at the edge of narrow board below the audio drive board. Lives near the ocean, so it was on my mind to back track to the supply side, but didn't have to go that far. May help someone else. Regards. Geoff]]></description>
